Job Summary

Support TikTok’s North America Litigation team as part of the Global Litigation function, managing litigation and pre-litigation disputes from intake through resolution. Oversee the patent docket and assist with employment matters, case management, and fact investigation/discovery, including custodial interviews and coordinating with outside counsel and e-discovery teams. Help run legal holds, preserve documents, track metrics and audit reports, and improve workflows through playbooks, templates, and standardized procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the Global Litigation team to manage litigation, pre-litigation disputes, investigations, and regulatory matters through resolution, including oversight of the patent docket and support for employment matters.
•Drive case management tasks such as intake, tracking, file management, and calendaring.
•Assist with fact investigation and discovery, including custodial interviews, witness and outside-counsel liaison work, document collections, and coordination with e-discovery teams for processing and production.
•Manage document preservation and legal hold processes in collaboration with eDiscovery, Forensics, and IT teams.
•Collect litigation metrics and trends, support leadership and finance with metrics/audit reports, and help optimize internal processes and litigation playbooks/templates.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of litigation experience in-house, at a tech company, or at a law firm.
•Bachelor's degree or a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited program.
•Proficient knowledge of the litigation process (motion practice, discovery, trial, and appellate procedures) and the ability to administratively manage all phases of litigation.
•Technically savvy and able to quickly learn and use various tools.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills plus strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
