  • •Lead implementation, commissioning, and sustainment of instrumentation, controls, and electrical programs across the Kennecott Copper value stream.
  • •Investigate equipment failures and implement mitigation actions.
  • •Develop, implement, and track operating and calibration verification programs.
  • •Lead and participate in defect elimination projects and provide engineering support to operating and capital projects.
  • •Prepare scopes of work and cost estimates, and coordinate contractors to achieve project outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • •Commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
  • •Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Engineering Technology (or related) with at least 5 years of relevant industrial experience, or a Bachelor’s degree (or related) with at least 2 years of relevant industrial experience.
  • •Experience with Rockwell Automation PLCs, including Allen Bradley systems.
  • •Experience with Rockwell Automation Variable Frequency Drives and related software, including Studio 5000 and Connected Components Workbench.
  • •Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, loop drawings and process flow drawings, and experience developing maintenance/calibration/troubleshooting documentation.
