Job Summary

Handle customer transactions with speed and accuracy while safeguarding bank assets. Set up and balance your teller station, process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments, and record sales of monetary instruments. Assist customers with inquiries in person or by phone, maintain a stocked teller area, and cross-sell bank products and services. Follow safety, soundness, and account protection limits, complete BSA/AML and compliance training, and support vault/ATM/night drop/coin machine balancing as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Receive, pay out cash, and handle negotiable items including loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
•Set up, close, and balance the teller station and assist with balancing vault, ATM, night drop, and coin machine.
•Record sales of monetary instruments and assist with scanning bank documents and proof work.
•Assist customers with inquiries in person or by telephone and maintain a neat, well-stocked teller area.
•Promote and cross-sell bank products and services while following limits and adhering to bank policies and procedures. Additionally, ensure compliance via assigned BSA/AML training.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED and ability to adapt to office and field work routines.
•0 to 6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent education/experience combination.
•Basic math skills and 10-key proficiency to handle money and measurements.
•Ability to effectively communicate and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers and the public.
•Ability to follow bank policies and procedures and complete required BSA/AML and compliance training as assigned.
