Job Summary

Senior highways engineering leader responsible for delivering major infrastructure design projects for Main Roads WA. Leads multidisciplinary design teams, provides technical direction, and develops study procedures and specifications while coordinating with clients and stakeholders to ensure high quality, cost-effective outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as a senior technical resource and technical advisor for the team, providing input to studies and design in your area of expertise.
•Develop study and design procedures to enable high quality, cost-effective work by others and participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
•Prepare project proposals and tenders for Main Roads Panel projects and Major Projects, and provide input to engineering budgets and schedules.
•Review and coordinate the integrity of design calculations and drawings, and prepare technical specification sections as required.
•Lead interdisciplinary coordination on projects and ensure alignment with client requirements and standards.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
•15+ years’ experience in highway and major infrastructure design.
•Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) – Engineers Australia.
•Demonstrated experience working with Main Roads WA projects and standards.
•Proven track record leading multidisciplinary design teams in a consultancy environment.
