Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the First Line of Defence for Risk & Control Management, partnering with risk and control owners to govern non-financial risks across the business.
  • •Embed risk and control considerations into business decisions and change delivery, using insights to identify, aggregate, and escalate control weaknesses and emerging risks.
  • •Coordinate with the Data Privacy Officer and relevant risk SMEs on breach/incident reporting inputs to ensure timely, accurate regulatory submissions and lessons-learned actions.
  • •Challenge and support initiatives to ensure non-financial risk requirements are designed in, risks are assessed, controls are defined, and residual risk is understood and accepted.
  • •Lead targeted reviews (e.g., incident/problem management, change management, access control, third-party resilience) to identify gaps and uplift operational discipline.

  • •Strong understanding of Operational Risk and Controls, Information Security Risk, and resilience, with knowledge of IWPB products, services, and operating model.
