Key Responsibilities

  • •Originate, risk, and mature exploration and play-extension opportunities that grow the regional resource base and inventory.
  • •Lead regional geological risk and resource analyses across multiple play types using integrated subsurface data.
  • •Mentor and elevate fellow geoscientists while setting direction on complex plays within the subsurface team.
  • •Map, model, and communicate resource potential and business value to technical peers and leadership.
  • •Collaborate with reservoir engineering and corporate exploration/technology and machine-learning teams to assess economics and accelerate evaluation and appraisal workflows.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of upstream oil and gas experience, with substantial exploration/growth experience in onshore unconventional plays.
  • •Proven track record identifying and advancing growth and exploration opportunities in Appalachian/Marcellus and/or multi-basin experience.
  • •Advanced integration of geologic, geophysical, petrophysical, and production data to support technical decisions.
  • •Strong command of well logs and petrophysics, with experience in seismically-informed characterization preferred.
  • •Proficiency with industry mapping/interpretation software (e.g., Kingdom) and data/visualization tools (e.g., Spotfire and ArcPro); Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required.
