Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and independently create new products according to customer specifications, including planning for three-year or longer product/technology roadmaps.
  • •Define new product QA requirements, conduct initial material testing, and obtain customer material approvals.
  • •Evaluate testing instruments and recommend capital expenditures.
  • •Transfer new products/technologies to the processing group and support production scale-up and manufacturing plant technical support.
  • •Maintain laboratory records and notebook practices and publish research proposals, field trial proposals, product releases, and project progress reports; initiate/sit technical presentations with raw material suppliers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Geology, or related field plus five (5) years of related experience, or a Master’s degree plus three (3) years of related experience.
  • •Experience including two (2) years of PCP (Product Creation Process).
  • •Experience including DOE techniques and features and concrete admixtures formulation.
  • •Product specification creation and QC for production and customers.
  • •Hands-on chemistry and testing: concrete/cement chemistry plus concrete testing (slump, air, setting times, compressive strengths) and analytical instruments (HPLC, FTIR, titration), plus MDG-M and SAP knowledge.
