Job Summary

Oversee daily quality control activities at a South Houston precast facility, including process and final product inspections, corrective action reporting, and reporting quality issues and improvements to management. Lead and work alongside three quality control technicians. Perform pre- and post-pour checks, concrete wet tests and compression tests, lab equipment calibration/maintenance, and maintain required NPCA and DOT certifications while coordinating with DOT inspectors and auditors.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee daily QC functions including process and final product inspections.
•Schedule and supervise 3 quality control technicians.
•Conduct pre-pour and post-pour inspection checks and perform daily wet tests for concrete production pours.
•Manage corrective action reports for nonconforming products and monitor production operations for deficiencies.
•Maintain quality documentation, record keeping, lab equipment calibration/maintenance, and NPCA/DOT certifications while coordinating with DOT inspectors and auditors.

Key Requirements
