Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with cross-functional engineers, research scientists, technical program managers, and product managers to deliver AI-powered products.
  • •Oversee design, development, testing, deployment, and support of AI software components, including foundation model training, LLM inference, similarity search, guardrails, model evaluation, experimentation, governance, and observability.
  • •Make build-vs-buy decisions across open source and SaaS AI technologies such as AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, VectorDBs, and PyTorch.
  • •Drive optimization of foundation model systems to improve scalability, cost, latency, and throughput; contribute to the long-term roadmap for foundational AI systems.
  • •Establish enterprise standards for Responsible AI (fairness metrics, evaluation protocols, documentation, audit readiness) and ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory requirements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 244,700 - 279,200 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields plus 8+ years developing AI/ML algorithms or technologies, or a Master's degree plus 6+ years developing AI/ML algorithms or technologies.
  • •At least 3 years of people leadership experience.
  • •Experience deploying scalable and responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure or equivalent).
  • •Experience developing AI/ML algorithms or technologies including LLM inference, similarity search and VectorDBs, guardrails, and memory.
  • •Ability to communicate complex AI concepts and collaborate across research, compliance, and enterprise risk teams.
