Key Responsibilities

  • •Counsel clients on investment topics including retirement planning, tax planning, education planning, income management, and risk management, ensuring suitability and objectives are met.
  • •Adhere to Regulation Best Interest (Reg BI) and act as a fiduciary in advisory relationships.
  • •Acquire, expand, and maintain client relationships through business development, client networking, and internal line-of-business partnering.
  • •Purchase and sell securities that meet customer needs as objectives change; provide market and portfolio evaluation and investment recommendations.
  • •Develop and maintain an annual personal business plan, monitor production/sales goals, incorporate new practice technologies, and represent the company in the community.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline (preferred).
  • •Minimum five years of experience in the investment services industry.
  • •FINRA registrations including Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63 and 65 in lieu of Series 66).
  • •State of Virginia life insurance and annuities licenses.
  • •AWMA or CFP designations preferred.
