Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead maintenance management of back shop machines and facilities, including CNC machines, non-destructive inspection, composite repair, and sheet metal facilities.
  • •Provide familiarization training to IAF technicians on the back shop facilities and machines.
  • •Lead technical specialists to meet contractual obligations for intermediate-level maintenance, advanced troubleshooting, breakdown maintenance, and aggregate material planning for consumables.
  • •Coordinate with international teams and OEMs to achieve desired serviceability of back shop machines.
  • •Support the C-17 Base Manager with all back shop-related queries.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree required.
  • •Minimum 15 years of total experience in maintenance management of advanced back shop/depot-level facilities equipped with CNC, NDI, composite repair, and sheet metal capabilities.
  • •Ability to use technical orders/operator manuals to troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems, especially electrical, avionics, and instrument systems.
  • •Familiarity with tools, testers, and ground equipment for fault isolation and associated back shop documentation systems.
  • •Demonstrated team-building and basic department administration skills, including conflict management, task allocation, and follow-up.
