Key Responsibilities

•Help Solution Providers/Practice Leads with the technical strategies that enables them to sell their offerings on Snowflake.
•Collaborate with partners to develop Snowflake solutions in customer engagements; create assets and demos, build hands-on POCs and pitch Snowflake solutions.
•Provide production-level hands-on expertise in developing and deploying PySpark or Scala and SQL to build ELT/data pipelines; stay current with Spark updates and best practices.
•Design and build highly scalable data pipelines using Spark, Kafka to ingest data from various systems.
•Collaborate with cross-teams and product managers; present to C-level and influence where Snowflake products can have impact.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•5+ years of industry experience designing, building and supporting large-scale systems in production.
•Production-ready hands-on experience with PySpark or Scala and SQL to build ELT/data pipelines; strong Spark knowledge.
•Hands-on experience with Kafka and building highly scalable data pipelines from various systems.
•Experience with integration platforms such as Matillion, FiveTran, Informatica, dbtCloud, etc.; knowledge of database technologies.
•DevOps/CI/CD experience with tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, Google Cloud Build; proficiency with major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
•BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related majors; excellent verbal and written communication in English.
