Key Responsibilities

  • •Repair and maintain complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment using independent judgment.
  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, and diagnose root causes and corrective actions.
  • •Order parts and maintain complete, timely daily paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed.
  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment and be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred).
  • •Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts; travel to customer job sites for repairs when required and maintain the service vehicle.

Key Requirements

  • •Own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude, including working knowledge of tools.
  • •Have extensive knowledge of construction equipment with advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
  • •Provide superior customer service and teamwork with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • •Hold a high school diploma; trade school certificate is preferred, and experience in field service, maintenance, and repair is preferred.
  • •Have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
