Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead advanced incident detection, investigation, and analysis by correlating SIEM/EDR/IDS-IPS/firewall data and determining root cause, scope, and impact.
  • •Coordinate and direct complex incident response activities, serving as primary escalation for high-impact incidents and ensuring adherence to playbooks.
  • •Conduct proactive threat hunting using telemetry/logs and advanced queries to identify IOCs, suspicious behavior, APTs, and undiscovered vulnerabilities.
  • •Coordinate with forensics teams on evidence collection and chain-of-custody, extract artifacts, and document findings for stakeholders.
  • •Develop and enhance SOC processes, playbooks, detection capabilities, and threat intelligence dissemination; mentor junior analysts and brief leadership.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
  • •Minimum 8 years of experience in IT and/or Information Security.
  • •DoD 8140 certification for the respective area or ability to obtain within 6 months of onboarding.
  • •Active Secret clearance or higher; must be eligible for Top-Secret clearance if requested.
  • •Ability to perform advanced incident detection, investigation, and analysis using security tooling and frameworks.
