Job Summary

Operate, monitor, and tend the petroleum coke conveyor and loading systems, supporting 24/7/365 terminal operations through rotating day/night and weekend shifts. Control equipment via HMI, track alarms and interlocks, and run loadout equipment including the Kanawha Loading Tower. Operate and maintain heavy mobile equipment (dozers, wheel loaders, forklifts, vacuum trucks), perform inspections and preventive maintenance, and complete CMMS reporting and safety training.

Key Responsibilities

•Utilize HMI to control equipment status and alarm notifications for petroleum coke movement and loading.
•Monitor interlocks, temperature and material level alarms, permissive signals, and start/stop sequences to support troubleshooting and diagnosing problems.
•Operate the Kanawha Loading Tower to control railcar loading and monitor surge bin levels.
•Operate heavy mobile equipment (D-9 Dozer, bulldozer, WA-500 wheel loader, forklift, skid steer, man-lift, vacuum truck) for material gouging, leveling, distribution, and cleanup.
•Perform preventive maintenance and inspections, maintain sign in/sign out logs, complete CMMS reporting, and attend safety meetings/training.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Train to operate D-9 Dozer and other heavy mobile equipment (front-end loader, skid steer, man-lift, forklift, DOT-approved vac truck).
•Proficient with computers including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and able to learn HMI quickly.
•Must possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's license and be willing to use personal and/or company vehicle as needed.
•Must obtain and/or meet foreign trade zone requirements, including maintaining a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC) (and related background checks).
