Maintain and improve high-uptime equipment across Crocs’ highly automated Ohio Distribution Center. Serve as an advanced escalation point for complex automation, controls, electrical, fabrication, and facility failures; run diagnostics on AS/RS, shuttle, sortation, and integrated material-handling systems; troubleshoot power, docks, and mechanical/safety assets; lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions; and coach lower-level technicians while supporting preventive maintenance using CMMS and downtime data.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as final technical escalation point for complex automation, controls, electrical, fabrication, and facility failures before engineering/external support.
•Lead advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on automated material handling systems including AS/RS, shuttle systems, goods-to-person automation, and sortation equipment.
•Troubleshoot facility infrastructure such as power distribution, dock systems, building mechanical systems, and safety-critical assets.
•Perform and oversee fabrication and repair work (cutting, drilling, grinding, welding, bracket/guard fabrication) and coordinate vendor work to maintain safe, compliant operations.
•Lead formal root cause analysis for major downtime events; develop corrective actions and influence preventive maintenance strategies using CMMS and downtime data.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED; advanced technical education preferred.
•7+ years of progressive industrial maintenance experience in highly automated environments.
•Strong electrical, controls, and facility systems background with hands-on automation/material-handling troubleshooting.
•Demonstrated technical leadership, escalation ownership, and mentoring capability.
•Proficiency with CMMS systems and maintenance documentation; experience with reliability methods (RCM/TPM/PM optimization) or predictive maintenance tools is preferred.
