Key Responsibilities

  • •Own accounting and financial reporting for ByteDance’s APAC entities, including month-end and quarter-end close for e-commerce entities.
  • •Post journal entries to support monthly and quarterly closings and prepare trial balances and financial statements accurately and on time.
  • •Perform monthly account reconciliations and related tasks.
  • •Coordinate the full audit cycle for annual financial audits and statutory reporting, liaising with external auditors to meet deadlines.
  • •Support tax submissions, statutory filings, and cross-functional compliance efforts; assist with ad-hoc system enhancements and process improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • •Extensive experience in a professional services firm, with strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge across Southeast Asia.
  • •Strong knowledge of IFRS and familiarity with APAC financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
  • •Hands-on experience with month-end close, analytical reviews, and preparing full sets of accounts.
  • •Basic knowledge of tax requirements and regulatory compliance across SEA countries, with strong interpersonal and project management skills.
