Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in maintenance and repair activities and quick interventions on location and onboard ships.
  • •Be part of the Marine Mechanics/Hydraulics department at Zeebrugge performing maintenance and/or inspection of specified equipment.
  • •Repair, overhaul and/or assist manufacturers of all kinds of engines, valves and related components on ships.
  • •Provide support to other departments as needed to meet deadlines with colleagues.
  • •During onboarding, learn step-by-step how to perform various maintenance activities and progress to independent or team-based work.

Key Requirements

  • •BSO/TSO (A2) in automechanica (dieselmotoren)/hydraulica or equivalent by experience
  • •5–10 years of experience
  • •Fluent Dutch
  • •Comfortable working among marine engines, hydraulics and related systems on ships
  • •Familiarity with safety training and required qualifications to perform job safely
