Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate day-to-day import and export activities to support production and customer delivery needs.
  • •Ensure documentation and compliance with Mexican and U.S. customs regulations, including correct HS codes, valuation, and required trade documentation.
  • •Maintain accurate inventory and item master data by creating and updating part numbers in the Inventory Control System, including monitoring temporary import expiration dates.
  • •Perform monthly foreign trade self-assessments/audits, track import/export errors, and support internal and external audits with records and explanations.
  • •Collaborate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and government agencies to resolve issues and proactively communicate shipment delays or risks to internal stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in International Trade, International Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • •At least 3 years of experience in an import/export coordinator role or a similar position.
  • •Knowledge of Mexican and U.S. customs laws and regulations for imports and exports.
  • •Practical experience with tariff classification (HS codes) and customs valuation.
  • •Experience using PRISMA WEB, ORACLE, and Apps Runner.
