Key Responsibilities

•Design and develop responsive, scalable web applications using React/TypeScript and modern front-end tools.
•Integrate ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript to implement 2D/3D visualizations, feature layers, and spatial queries.
•Build and extend custom widgets for ArcGIS Experience Builder to meet business requirements.
•Optimize interactions with ArcGIS REST APIs and feature services to minimize latency and improve rendering performance.
•Collaborate with GIS Analysts and stakeholders to translate needs into technical specifications and lead code reviews for junior developers.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience with React (Functional Components, Hooks) and modern front-end build tools (e.g., Vite or Webpack).
•GIS-focused development using ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript (4.x) with 2D/3D visualizations, feature layers, and spatial queries.
•Experience building custom widgets for ArcGIS Experience Builder (Developer Edition).
•Strong spatial data understanding (coordinates systems, projections) and interaction with ArcGIS REST APIs; OAuth 2.0 authentication knowledge a plus.
•Proficiency in SQL (PostGIS or SQL Server) and Python (ArcPy) for data automation; collaboration with GIS Analysts to deliver requirements.
