Key Responsibilities

  • •Layout and section off test material
  • •Machine cylindrical and rectangular test specimens (turning, facing, grinding, threading, polishing)
  • •Prepare and machine rectangular specimens (sawing, shaping, milling, surface grinding)
  • •Prepare etched samples and perform related preparation steps
  • •Produce test specimens using hot working operation of the Hot Compression Tester and related equipment
