Key Responsibilities

  • •Rig up/down Subsea Safety Systems (SSS) equipment to maintain control of wellbore fluids and support well intervention and well testing interfacing.
  • •Coordinate and oversee SSS Product Service Line (PSL) functions at the well site/field camp, including equipment setup and well site direction.
  • •Monitor instruments and perform calculations to assure quality of data/job outcomes.
  • •Conduct pre-job toolbox safety meetings, review and verify the job plan with the customer, manage job plan changes, and complete required job documentation.
  • •Mentor and train lower level personnel and serve as a dedicated Assessor for junior SSS personnel; troubleshoot most jobs with minimal direction.

Key Requirements

  • •5 1/2 years of SSS experience and successful completion of company tests or task guideline requirements.
  • •Meet minimum competency requirements for Service Specialist I–SSS and be fully knowledgeable in most local aspects of the SSS service line.
  • •Ability to interpret tool engineering drawings and visually identify tool components, ancillary equipment, and assemblies by type and size.
  • •Ability to safely pressure test equipment and work safely with hand tools.
  • •Demonstrated knowledge of basic rig function and down hole hydraulics, including job calculations and wireline Blow Out Prevention (BOP) basics.
