Job Summary

Lead and coordinate a team of ~8 Project Controls professionals across business intelligence, reporting, planning, scheduling, and cost management. Provide day-to-day leadership, workload allocation, quality assurance, and capability development while serving as a first escalation point for delivery issues. Partner with Project Managers and portfolio stakeholders to deliver accurate cost and schedule insights, support audits and governance, and drive continuous improvement through process standardization and reporting enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate and support a team of approximately 8 Project Controls professionals across business intelligence, reporting, planning, scheduling, and cost management.
•Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and technical support to ensure clear priorities, delivery expectations, and performance standards.
•Support workload allocation, capacity planning, utilization visibility, and resource prioritization; escalate risks impacting delivery.
•Oversee quality and consistency of key Project Controls deliverables, including peer reviews, quality checks, governance standards, and reporting requirements.
•Support Project Managers and portfolio stakeholders with project performance insights, reporting outputs, cost and schedule information, and data-driven recommendations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
•Minimum 5 years of applied Project Controls experience within AECOM and/or external organizations.
•Strong experience in at least one core Project Controls discipline (Planning/Scheduling, Cost Management, Business Intelligence, Reporting, Forecasting, or Performance Management).
•Good working knowledge across multiple Project Controls disciplines, including dependencies between cost, schedule, reporting, forecasting, governance, and performance.
•Experience providing technical guidance, coaching, training, or informal leadership to colleagues or junior team members.
