Job Summary

Drive mixed-methods research to understand complex Trust & Safety challenges and turn evidence into actionable policy, product, and operational decisions. Lead end-to-end studies using statistical analysis, experimentation, causal inference, and modeling, alongside qualitative user and stakeholder research. Analyze large-scale behavioral and enforcement data to identify risks and intervention effectiveness, partnering with Data Science, Policy, Product, Operations, and Engineering to influence safety strategy at scale.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead end-to-end mixed-methods research initiatives, from problem framing and hypothesis development through analysis, validation, and recommendations.
•Use quantitative approaches (statistical analysis, experimentation, causal inference, and modeling) to identify trends, measure impact, and evaluate interventions.
•Apply qualitative methods (user research, case analysis, stakeholder interviews, ecosystem research) to understand behaviors, motivations, and emerging risks.
•Develop measurement frameworks for safety outcomes, policy effectiveness, enforcement quality, and user impact.
•Translate findings into policy and safety insights by partnering with Policy, Product, Engineering, Operations, and building reusable research and measurement capabilities.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in applied or quantitative research, data science, behavioral science, social science, or related fields.
•Strong foundation in statistics, experimentation, causal inference, and analytical modeling.
•Experience applying qualitative research methods to understand human behavior and complex systems.
•Ability to combine multiple evidence sources into holistic, actionable recommendations.
•Strong communication skills to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
