Key Responsibilities

•Evaluate materials and processes based on conformance to specifications and design and performance requirements
•Support product production and supplier support activities
•Provide evaluation and resolution to technical, operational, and supplier problems related to materials and processes
•Participate in analysis and documentation of technical positions for alternate materials, obsolescence, and failure analysis
•Support special processes in Painting, Plating, Welding, Brazing, Heat Treating, Bonding/adhesives, Polymers and Plastics, Non-Destructive Testing, Additive Manufacturing

Travel: Medium travel

Salary: USD 86,800 - 165,200 annually

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
•Experience in material qualification, analysis, testing, design or development (material selections)
•Experience in metal alloy systems or organic and inorganic coatings or corrosion control and protection, or additive manufacturing.
