Key Responsibilities

•Direct, mentor, and empower a team of systems administrators and infrastructure engineers to drive operational excellence and skill development.
•Drive the architectural design and health of a complex environment including VMware, Windows core services, Red Hat Linux, 3rd party applications, IIS, Tomcat/Apache, and databases (SQL Server, Oracle).
•Enforce strict security governance across enterprise systems, ensuring DISA STIG policies, RMF control documentation, and PKI/Active Directory/ RSA authentication governance are maintained.
•Break down silos by partnering with Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, Application Development, Database teams, Field Support, and Helpdesk to deliver cohesive, highly available services.
•Translate complex stakeholder requirements into actionable modernization strategies bridging legacy constraints with future-state performance and security goals.

•Hands-on architectural experience with VMware vSphere/vCenter and physical server hardware management.
•Strong knowledge of Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) and Microsoft Exchange.
