Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and Build End-to-End Features: Develop scalable and high-performance frontend and backend systems, working across the stack with technologies like AWS, K8S, Ruby on Rails (legacy), Python and Vue.js.
  • •Lead Strategic Alignment and Initiatives: Drive high-impact engineering initiatives and manage technical communication with managers, product managers, designers, and customers independently.
  • •Champion Engineering Excellence: Write robust, maintainable code and implement best practices around testing, CI/CD, performance, observability and reliability.
  • •Architect Scalable Systems: Design and implement distributed systems and microservices with event-driven architecture using Kafka.
  • •Mentor and Coach: Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on development best practices, engineering operational excellence, and complex system design.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years developing production-grade applications with Ruby/Python, backend frameworks (Rails + Sidekiq, FastAPI) and frontend frameworks (Vue.js) in TypeScript
  • •Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining microservices architectures
  • •Solid hands-on experience with Kafka and event-driven systems
  • •Proficiency in MySQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis
  • •Familiarity with AWS and infrastructure orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Helm
