Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform MTF, FTF, and MOC testing on customer MH-47G series aircraft using ground and in-flight diagnostic test equipment.
  • •Operate assigned rotary-wing helicopters and demonstrate instrument task proficiency during annual flight evaluations.
  • •Complete initial and annual FAA second-class flight physicals.
  • •Participate in annual flight evaluations conducted by an Instructor Pilot (IP) and Maintenance Test Flight Evaluator (MTFE) qualified in Mission, Type, and Design Series (MDS).
  • •Ensure required Aircrew Training Manual (ATM) tasks are accomplished and maintain current medical and instrument-rating requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Be qualified in the specific MDS aircraft and complete MTP requirements for MH-47G.
  • •Have at least 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command time, including at least 100 hours in the specific MDS/similar aircraft.
  • •Log at least 50 hours during maintenance test flights on MH-47G aircraft.
  • •Be a graduate of the AMOC II course and maintain an FAA Second Class Medical Certificate.
  • •Hold an FAA instrument rating on FAA Commercial Certificates and be able to obtain an Active Secret Clearance (Interim Secret Clearance required to start).
