Job Summary

Steer and implement GBSC’s AI strategy by designing and building production-grade applications that embed machine learning and generative AI. Integrate trained ML/LLM models into APIs, services, workflows, and UIs, and collaborate with Data Science and ML Engineering to operationalize prebuilt models. Own model versioning, deployment, monitoring, guardrails, and responsible AI practices, while ensuring enterprise security, privacy, compliance, and ethical usage. Mentor team members and stay current on AI engineering trends.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as GBSC design lead for AI-based solutions within Mastercard’s evolving AI ecosystem.
•Design and develop production-grade applications embedding machine learning and generative AI capabilities.
•Integrate trained models into APIs, services, workflows, and UIs.
•Collaborate with Data Science and ML Engineering teams to operationalize prebuilt models.
•Implement model versioning, deployment, monitoring, updates, and responsible AI guardrails including bias mitigation and explainability.

Key Requirements

•Advanced expertise integrating generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG architectures into business applications.
•Extensive experience deploying production-grade AI applications with evaluation, observability, and monitoring.
•Strong software engineering experience using Python, Java, C#, or similar languages.
•Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerized deployments.
•Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design; attention to detail with a passion for automation and emerging technologies.
