Job Summary

Perform complex diagnostics, repairs, calibrations, and system integrations on autonomous vehicle fleets. Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical systems and AV compute, sensor, and networking components, including CAN/LIN faults. Calibrate LiDAR, radar, cameras, GPS, and IMUs, support software deployments and log reviews, and assist with on-road/closed-course testing and incident response. Maintain repair and calibration documentation and contribute to continuous improvement while mentoring other technicians.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform complex mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on AV powertrain, braking, suspension, and high-voltage systems.
•Diagnose, repair, and validate faults involving CAN networks, LIN bus, power distribution, and AV computer hardware.
•Conduct precise calibrations of LiDAR, radar, camera arrays, GPS units, and IMUs to meet AV operational standards.
•Install, configure, and replace complex AV components, and support engineering teams with software deployments and log reviews.
•Support on-road/closed-course AV testing, respond to escalated field issues, and maintain documentation of repairs and calibrations in fleet systems.

Key Requirements

•3–5+ years of experience as an automotive, EV, robotics, or AV technician.
•Strong diagnostic experience with mechanical and electrical vehicle systems.

•Proficiency with diagnostic software, scan tools, and electrical testing equipment.
•Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering documentation.
