•Define and own the platform’s technical architecture, including multi-modal APIs, real-time event systems, AI orchestration layers, and data infrastructure.
•Architect scalable, production-grade agentic and conversational AI systems, including LLM integration layers, retrieval pipelines, tool-use orchestration, and evaluation frameworks.
•Lead cross-functional technical initiatives by decomposing ambiguous product bets into engineering roadmaps and mitigating systemic risks.
•Establish engineering standards for scaling from 30 to 300 engineers, covering service contracts, data models, deployment patterns, observability, and reliability targets.
•Mentor and elevate senior engineers and embed AI-native development practices using tools like Claude Code and Cursor.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of software engineering experience, including roles where you set technical direction rather than only executing.
•Proven architectural wins with systems you designed that scaled and survived production at scale.
•Expert proficiency in TypeScript and Python, with strong JavaScript for full-stack contributions.
•Deep platform engineering expertise across distributed systems, event-driven architectures, cloud-native infrastructure, multi-tenancy, and horizontal scale.
•BS/BA in Computer Science required (MS or PhD in CS/AI is a meaningful plus).
