Key Responsibilities

  • •Support execution of independent credit review examinations across loan portfolios to assess credit risk management practices, validate risk ratings, and confirm portfolio quality.
  • •Support accurate reporting to the Board, Enterprise Risk Committee, executive management, auditors, and regulators.
  • •Assist with issue management for lending unit examinations, including tracking findings and monitoring remediation progress to support validation and closure.
  • •Identify gaps in underwriting, portfolio management practices, and risk rating accuracy; document observations and escalate as appropriate.
  • •Support examiner-in-charge (EIC) coordination by maintaining workpapers and ensuring documentation is complete, and contribute to risk-based findings and exam report preparation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
  • •7+ years of experience in commercial lending, credit risk management, underwriting, portfolio management, or related credit risk functions.
  • •7+ years of experience supporting credit examinations across commercial and specialty credit portfolios, including venture banking, equity funds, lender finance, corporate asset finance, commercial real estate, and consumer portfolios.
  • •Working knowledge of credit risk assessment, lending practices, and regulatory and internal credit standards.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and strong analytical, quantitative, organizational, and communication skills.
