Job Summary

Support Philips’ multi-vendor biomedical business by installing, troubleshooting, and servicing medical equipment at customer sites. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs using service manuals, OJT, OEM, and third-party training, and independently complete PMs, FCOs, and installations. Diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical issues while owning customer problem resolution and communicating appropriately with site service personnel.

Key Responsibilities

•Install, troubleshoot, and service biomedical equipment at customer sites using technical knowledge.
•Perform preventative maintenance and service repairs using service manuals, OJT, OEM, or third-party training.
•Identify and resolve customer issues, provide appropriate communication, and involve site service personnel when needed.
•Independently complete PMs, FCOs, installations, and related tasks.
•Independently diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems to resolve customer issues.

Key Requirements

•2+ years servicing medical equipment, with experience in biomedical/patient monitoring, blood pressure monitors, defibrillators, or infusion pumps preferred.
•Associates degree in electronics or an equivalent combination of education and experience; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred.
•Working knowledge of electronic circuit boards, schematics, processors, and computer hardware, plus ability to apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory.
•Ability to understand and use necessary tools and test equipment to install, diagnose, and repair equipment.
•Must be able to work flexible hours (including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations) and safely work with radiation sources/radioactive materials.
•Must be able to travel when needed to customer accounts within the area.
