Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive continuous improvement and optimization of engineering processes for better time-to-market performance.
  • •Deploy Eaton Business System standard practices and set KPIs for new product development performance.
  • •Influence and educate stakeholders outside R&D to deploy engineering processes across functional dependencies.
  • •Establish and govern APAC Design Quality & Reliability (DQ&RE) capability, including metrics and review mechanisms.
  • •Deploy DFSS across APAC by building the execution roadmap, governing DFSS project selection and rigor, and embedding DFSS tools into the product development lifecycle.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in a relevant science, engineering, technology, or maths field (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science, Maths, Computer Science).
  • •Minimum 10 years of experience across engineering, operations, and manufacturing, including supply chain and sales, with a proven record influencing end-to-end product development.
  • •Intimate familiarity with Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies, including successfully deploying these initiatives.
  • •Deep technical knowledge of engineering across multiple technologies and R&D management, including power distribution, power quality, and electronics fundamentals.
  • •Strong understanding of reliability engineering, validation expectations, and the deployment of DFSS (including training/coaching, governance, and project rigor).
