Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide end-to-end delivery leadership for an assigned application team by coordinating work across USPS and vendor resources without direct supervisory authority.
  • •Translate business objectives into delivery execution: define scope clarity, sequencing, milestones, and deliverable commitments with USPS leadership and stakeholders.
  • •Lead cross-functional planning and dependency management across integrations, environments, security/network reviews, release coordination, and vendor timelines.
  • •Provide consistent status reporting to USPS leadership, including progress, risks/issues, decisions needed, dependencies, and mitigation plans tracked to closure.
  • •Coordinate release/deployment readiness (environment readiness, approvals, cutover, validation, communications) and support production operations/critical incidents to prioritize corrective actions to completion.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years in technology delivery roles (e.g., Senior BSA, Technical Delivery Lead, Technical Program Coordinator/Lead) with proven delivery leadership through influence.
  • •Translate complex requirements into epics/features/stories and executable plans with measurable outcomes and strong scope, dependency, and risk/issue management.
  • •Cross-functional coordination across engineering, architecture, infrastructure/environments, security, and operations; ability to drive decisions without direct authority.
  • •Technical fluency across SDLC and modern delivery practices (integrations/APIs, environments, DevSecOps concepts, logging/monitoring, incident response).
  • •Experience using work management/ITSM tools (e.g., VersionOne/Jira/Azure DevOps; ServiceNow or equivalent) and producing delivery artifacts (status, RAID logs, milestones, ROMs).
