Job Summary

Certify and supervise base maintenance tasks on Air Arabia and third-party aircraft under CAR 66 B1 licencing. Responsible for inspections, defect rectification, repairs and component replacement to ensure airworthiness, safety and regulatory compliance, while coordinating with engineers and technicians to ensure timely, documented maintenance.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Review assigned task cards with the Maintenance Manager to understand work scope, priorities, documentation requirements and cautions before starting work.
•Prepare and perform scheduled aircraft maintenance according to task cards, ensuring documentation, parts, tools and GSE are available and used per instructions.
•Carry out aircraft test and inspection tasks to identify and record defects or damage per approved procedures.
•Perform defect troubleshooting and rectification in line with Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and Engineering instructions.
•Sign off maintenance tasks performed or supervised, ensuring completion of task cards and associated documentation.

Key Requirements

•Holds / has held an EASA Part 66 or GCAA CAR 66 B1 Aircraft Maintenance Licence and company maintenance approvals on the Airbus A320. Must commit to removing license limitations within 9 months of induction and be able to obtain an unrestricted GCAA CAR 66 B1 Category Licence.
•At least 2 years’ experience certifying maintenance on the Airbus A320 family of aircraft.
•At least 5 years’ experience in a Base Maintenance environment.
•Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to a good standard for technical communications; good computer skills (Microsoft Office).
•Ability to obtain a UAE driving license.
