Job Summary

Oversee and direct operations for the Canton aggregates facility and additional surface aggregate production sites across the Northeast Division. Lead safety compliance across OSHA, MSHA, DEP, ODNR, and EPA requirements, manage personnel and day-to-day production, and handle inventory, fixed-plant maintenance planning, reclamation, budgeting, and P&L accountability. Ensure operational plans and forecasts support profitability and meet regulatory and production objectives.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee surface aggregate operations, including personnel, equipment, trucking, and materials.
•Direct and supervise plant personnel, allocate resources effectively, conduct Toolbox Talks, and maintain safe operating conditions.
•Ensure compliance with OSHA, MSHA, DEP, ODNR, EPA, and other internal and governmental safety requirements.
•Manage area network activities including budgeting, production planning, staffing, inventory levels, and maximizing equipment/facility utilization.
•Review expenditure, financial, and operations reports to improve profitability; forecast production and maintenance and maintain P&L accountability.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school, or five to 10 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Advanced understanding of production methods, processes, and supervision of large groups.
•Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and communicate effectively.
•Strong mathematical skills, including computing rates/ratios/percent and creating and interpreting graphs.
•Ability to deal with variable situations to solve practical problems and establish standardization within the facilities.
