Job Summary

Senior Hydraulic Engineer leading hydraulic services design across multiple projects within WSP’s Building Services team in Canberra, Australia. Key Responsibilities

•Lead hydraulic services design on multidisciplinary projects, ensuring compliance with technical, safety, commercial, and regulatory requirements.
•Produce high-quality engineering documentation that delivers efficient, cost-effective outcomes for clients.
•Take ownership of small to medium projects while also contributing to larger, complex project teams.
•Collaborate closely with clients, authorities, and internal teams to drive project success.
•Build strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities within the Canberra and regional markets.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical, or similar) or equivalent industry experience.
•Approximately 6+ years of experience working on Australian building services projects, specifically in hydraulic services design.
•Strong knowledge of relevant Standards, Codes, and regulatory frameworks (AS/NZS, NCC, etc.).
•Experience in consulting engineering is ideal; D&C contracting experience is also valued.
•Familiarity with BIM platforms (e.g., Revit, NavisWorks) is advantageous, with working Revit capability preferred.
