Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with design engineers on physical design verification and physical implementation for ASICs.
  • •Perform memory interface simulation work such as GDDR7, HBM, and UCIE.
  • •Participate in discrete and embedded hardware work, including chip-to-chip interconnects.
  • •Work on RTL design in Verilog, including timing/power-driven synthesis (DFP).

Key Requirements

  • •Currently enrolled in a Canada-based bachelor’s program majoring in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Strong semiconductor device physics knowledge.
  • •Experience with digital/logic circuits and VLSI.
  • •Experience with Verilog or VHDL hardware description languages.
  • •Exposure to UVM methodologies and scripting tools such as Python, Perl, TCL, Ruby, or Shell/UNIX scripting, plus interest/experience in Machine Learning and ASIC design.
