•Support and incubate products with machine learning, especially state-of-the-art AIGC techniques such as GPT and Stable Diffusion.
•Build and improve scalable machine learning models for TikTok’s content understanding system supporting monetization.
•Advance capabilities in OCR, large language models, and multimodal generative models.
•Apply research to improve user experience and advertiser value through reliable, high-performing systems.

Key Requirements

•Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant major.
•Rich research experience as the first author of published papers at top venues (e.g., CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, TPAMI, IJCV, ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP, NAACL).
•Expertise in image/video search, classification, and recognition.
•Experience with object detection, segmentation, and tracking.
•Experience with representation learning and large language models, including OCR and multimodal generative models.

Education:PhD / Doctorate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (or other relevant majors)
