Job Summary

Lead end-to-end equipment asset and inventory management for marine seismic survey operations. Build and govern a Strategic Asset Management Plan and asset management system aligned to ISO 55000 readiness, ensuring accurate ERP records, lifecycle optimization, and strong asset performance metrics (OEE, downtime, reliability, utilization). Own inventory control with reorder points, safety stock, cycle counts, audits, and actionable reporting, partnering across engineering, operations, finance, and procurement.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and lead a long-term Strategic Asset Management Plan aligned with business strategy, lifecycle costs, depreciation, replacement, and maintenance.
•Own and maintain the company’s asset management system (AMS), ensuring accurate equipment records and continuous improvement of policies, processes, governance, and workflows in ERP systems.
•Oversee equipment lifecycle management (acquisition, allocation, utilization, disposal), monitor aging and performance metrics, and optimize retention/replacement strategies.
•Implement and maintain inventory control systems to manage stock levels, reorder points, safety stock, lead times, and ensure real-time tracking and data integrity.
•Run physical inventory counts, cycle counts, audits, investigate discrepancies, generate inventory reports (turnover, stock aging, shrinkage), and provide insights to senior management.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
•Formal certification in asset management (e.g., Institute of Asset Management (IAM) or equivalent).
•7+ years of proven experience in asset and inventory management, ideally with technical or field equipment (seismic, geophysical or energy sector preferred).
•Strong experience developing strategic asset management plans and maintaining and governing an asset management system.
•Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with strong communication and stakeholder management.
