Job Summary

Support business unit-wide data analytics initiatives by applying machine learning to predict material properties, improve thermal management, and develop automated characterization methods. Work cross-functionally to map and integrate data from multiple sources, build models and optimization tools using online/offline structured and unstructured data, and use visualization techniques to solve business problems. Operate effectively in early-stage process development with a strong continuous improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities

•Support business unit-wide data analytics initiatives across multiple areas including ML predictions of material properties, thermal management, automated characterization, and manufacturing process design and improvement.
•Map data from multiple sources into new structures.
•Collaborate with business subject matter experts and business owners to determine solutions and solve business problems using data science tools, packages, and visualization techniques.
•Build models and optimization tools for large-scale projects using online/offline data and structured/unstructured datasets.
•Serve as a subject matter expert in the capabilities of data science.

Key Requirements

•B.S. degree in computer science or engineering with a strong statistical and programming background.
•Experience in deep learning, predictive modeling, data mining, and time series analysis.
•Knowledge of image segmentation, generative models, and convolutional neural networks.
•Experience in applied machine learning.
•Experience in SQL data query and data cleaning.
