Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead end-to-end electrical power design for expeditionary AI/HPC data centers, including MV distribution, substations, switchgear, UPS, BESS, and rack-level power for high-density GPU racks.
  • •Engineer power infrastructure for NVIDIA GPU clusters, coordinating with liquid cooling systems, CDUs, and rack power density requirements.
  • •Plan power topology and utility interconnects (generators, ATS, paralleling switchgear, transformers) and backup topologies to meet Tier III/IV and Uptime Institute standards.
  • •Perform electrical load analysis and studies (short-circuit, arc flash, load flow, and coordination), producing single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and construction documents.
  • •Collaborate with mechanical, controls, network, and hardware teams; architect microgrid and high-voltage power systems for austere, contested, transportable deployments.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related technical field).
  • •5+ years designing and deploying grid-scale MV/LV infrastructure, including 15kV–35kV MV systems and multi-MW power delivery.
  • •Experience with MV/LV distribution, transformers, switchgear/switchboards, generators, UPS, batteries/BESS, PDUs, busway, grounding/bonding, and protection systems.
  • •Proven track record building production infrastructure from concept through operational scale.
  • •U.S. Person status required and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance; travel up to 15%.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance (U.S. citizenship may be required).
