Job Summary

Own end-to-end feature development across the IP Lifecycle Management (IPLM) CLI and PiCache caching layer. Collaborate with the server team on API and database layers, and with solutions/support teams to resolve customer errors. Build user-facing pi commands and data-management integrations with Perforce/SVN/Git, improve integration and unit test frameworks, and prototype AI-assisted, agent-based QA and implementation workflows that integrate into daily development.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, implement, and ship user-facing pi commands and subcommands across IP, workspace, release, update, and snapshot workflows driven by customer needs.
•Extend the CLI’s data-management layer, including integration with Perforce, SVN, and Git-based version control systems.
•Diagnose and fix regressions in the CLI’s integration and unit test frameworks to keep development branches releasable.
•Prototype and productionize AI-assisted development workflows (agent-based QA loops and automated implementation workflows) that plug into the team’s day-to-day development.
•Work closely with the server team providing API and database layers, and with solutions/support teams to resolve customer errors.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong day-to-day Python.
•Experience building command-line tooling (argument parsing, subcommand design, structured JSON output, machine-readable errors).
•Experience with version control systems such as Perforce and Git.
•Write and maintain unit and integration test frameworks, diagnosing and fixing regressions.
•Comfort working in a Perforce/Helix Core environment (or willingness to learn), including familiarity with source-control internals.
