•Collaborate with engineers to take on sustaining initiatives to help drive quality, reliability and margin improvements
•Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings for components and assemblies
•Perform engineering analysis on designs including functional review, tolerance stack analysis, and manufacturability
•Write and execute test plans starting from early concept and document/communicate results to the cross-functional team
•Collaborate with adjacent development teams to ensure design success including concept testing, quality, industrial design, product management, and operations

Key Requirements

•2+ years mechanical design experience
•B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
•Sound engineering fundamentals in statics, dynamics, stress analysis, and material science
•Experience with core manufacturing methods including sheet metal, injection molding, weldments, machining, and casting
•Proficient in one 3D MCAD Package. Solidworks preferred
