Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to departmental strategy, annual business plans, policies, and procedures aligned to university objectives.
  • •Develop and manage departmental budgets and report divergences in a timely manner.
  • •Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize research agreements, ensuring alignment with policies, legal requirements, and sponsor/funding regulations.
  • •Coordinate with internal and external parties for contract-related issues, including IP ownership and usage rights, and maintain a database of executed and in-progress agreements.
  • •Provide oversight for compliance (including post-award policies and information security), support negotiation of award terms, and assist in developing management reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a field to sciences or engineering background.
  • •8-12 years of relevant experience.
  • •Ability to draft, review, negotiate, and finalize sponsored research, collaboration, and bespoke research agreements.
  • •Knowledge to ensure contract terms align with institutional policies, legal requirements, and funding agency regulations.
