Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide dynamic instruction and assessment based on U.S. Navy LCS combat systems capabilities and limitations.
  • •Develop, review, and customize curriculum lesson plans and instructor guides for traditional classroom and scenario/lab training.
  • •Support Train to Qualify (T2Q) and TYCOM Training and Certification (TTC) processes, including dynamic assessment of watchstanders.
  • •Conduct course reviews and curriculum updates, performing training gap analysis and recommending improvements.
  • •Develop, test, maintain, and deliver LCS TAO training materials, maintain training records, and track participant progress and program effectiveness.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent education plus training/military/work experience.
  • •8+ years of experience with the required system or process, including responsibility for teaching the applicable task in a master-level training environment.
  • •Experience as a qualified US Navy Tactical Action Officer (TAO) with relevant shipboard experience.
  • •2 years of experience as an instructor in a Navy training environment, including curriculum maintenance and writing learning objectives, preparing test items, and evaluating instruction results.
  • •Active Secret clearance required and US citizenship required.
