Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the end-to-end lifecycle of complex integrations across Workday and connected internal/external systems, from design and build to production support.
  • •Design, build, test, and maintain integration solutions using engineering tools and patterns (including Workday Studio, EIBs, APIs, middleware, orchestration, scripting, and low-code as applicable).
  • •Build and improve workflow automation, intelligent integrations, and AI-enabled solutions to reduce manual effort and improve People Technology operations.
  • •Serve as a senior escalation point for complex incidents and changes by analyzing logs, payloads, mappings, timing, and system behavior to implement durable fixes.
  • •Maintain reliable, secure, and scalable solutions that meet requirements for data accuracy, security, performance, resilience, and maintainability; contribute to standards and mentor junior specialists.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically 5–8 years delivering and supporting live enterprise integrations or systems/software engineering solutions.
  • •Strong hands-on experience designing, building, and supporting Workday integrations or equivalent HR platform integrations.
  • •Proficiency with integration/software engineering technologies including APIs (REST/SOAP), XML/JSON, middleware, orchestration, scripting, flat files, SFTP, and encryption mechanisms.
  • •Experience applying maintainable engineering practices such as version control, reusable design, structured/automated testing, disciplined deployment, and quality technical documentation.
  • •Fluency in English; relevant degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering (or equivalent practical experience) with strong understanding of enterprise data models, dependencies, and security/privacy compliance.
