Job Summary

Ensure plant equipment operates properly by troubleshooting electrical malfunctions and performing on-site electrical repair and maintenance. Maintain and repair production-area electrical equipment, install power supply wiring and conduit, read blueprints and wiring diagrams, and diagnose/testing of machinery. Calibrate electrical/electronic equipment, perform minor PLC-related programming and maintenance, maintain documentation and reports, and support lead electrician duties along with tools/parts management.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain and repair electrical equipment in the production areas.
•Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment.
•Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and assembly schematic drawings.
•Diagnose and test malfunctioning machinery, then replace or repair faulty electrical components.
•Calibrate and adjust electrical/electronic equipment to manufacturer specifications, including minor PLC-based maintenance and programming.

Key Requirements

•Associate’s degree or completion of Technical School and apprenticeship program (or equivalent training, experience, and education).
•Minimum 5 years industrial experience in electrical support functions (preferred).
•Knowledgeable of OSHA safety requirements related to electrical operations and components.
•Able to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints.
•Working knowledge of three phase motors, programmable controls, circuits, and the National Electrical Code.
