Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor transportation markets, freight rates, capacity developments, and industry trends to inform recommendations.
  • •Lead regional transportation tenders and sourcing initiatives, primarily for ocean freight.
  • •Develop and implement standardized transportation processes, policies, and governance across the Americas.
  • •Manage end-to-end transportation RFPs, including bid packages, lane structures, and award recommendations, and negotiate agreements with carriers.
  • •Support transportation systems and analytics (TMS, freight tables/master data, dashboards) for budgeting, forecasting, and savings tracking.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field.
  • •5-7+ years of experience in transportation procurement, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • •Strong experience managing multi-country transportation RFPs and carrier negotiations.
  • •Deep understanding of ocean freight markets and transportation networks across the Americas.
  • •Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), freight analytics, and cost optimization.
